Welcome to the 2008 Built Ford Tough Series(BFTS) with the bull-riders of Jeffrey Scott Fine Magnetics! Less than half-way through the year our bull-riders are soaring above the competition!

March has brought in one of the best events ever and showcased our great riders! In Baltimore, new Team Member Robson Palermo claimed his first win of 2008, riding all 3 bulls for the weekend! He is now in second place in the race for the 2008 PBR World Championship title just behind his Jeffrey Scott Teammate, Guilherme Marchi, who sits at the top of the BFTS points chase.

Palermo received $52,025 to add to his career earnings, bringing his total earnings for three years to $446,142.01. The $20,000 Ford Truck Moment of Truth bonus was also awarded to Palermo for entering the Championship Round in the number one spot and eventually claiming the event championship. The lead changed five times before Palermo blew the crowd away with his riding skills!

Marchi danced for the crowd after riding his way to 90.0 points in the Championship Round to finish fifth for the weekend. In typical Marchi fashion, Guilherme rode all 3 bulls on his way to World #1. After consectutive runner-up finishes in 2006 & 2007, Marchi is healthy and looks like he is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the 2008 title chase.

Another Jeffrey Scott rider, Travis Briscoe relinquished the top spot, but had a nice Second Round ride and is ready to fight his way back to the top. Travis has hit 2008 with focus, energy, determination, and the drive to bring home his first World Title.

2008 is definitely proving to be an action packed championship causing great anticipation for the upcoming events and challenges. We’re excited to see the progress of our bull-riders in 2008! We hope you’ll join us in watching their amazing adventures!

• Portland Invitational, March 14th in Portland, OR
  
• Tacoma Invitational, March 15th – 16th in Tacoma, WA
  
• Ty Murray Invitational, March 28th – 30th in Albuquerque, NM
