JEFFREY SCOTT RIDES IN THE FIRST ANNUAL SAN DIEGO COUNTY FAIR CATTLE DRIVE

DEL MAR, Calif. – Designer Jeffrey Scott, with President of the California 22nd District of Agricultural Association Barry Nussbaum, proudly rode in the first annual San Diego County Fair Cattle Drive.  The cattle drive began in the early hours of June 28 at the Del Mar Arena before traversing the historic Del Mar Track and the San Diego County Fair.   Twenty-five wranglers, including Scott and Nussbaum, drove 150 head of cattle around the site of the annual PBR Touring Pro Event.

“It was a fun experience,” Scott said.  “There was a great turnout and I hope to be back here next year.”

Along with participating in the event, Scott designed a limited amount of buckles for this event specifically.  The handcrafted, silver buckles were given to each of the wranglers in commemoration of what Nussbaum and 22nd DAA CEO, Tim Fennel hope to be “the beginning of a tradition at the San Diego County Fair".

Jeffrey Scott Fine Magnetics will be at the remainder of the San Diego County Fair until it ends on July 5.  The PBR Touring Pro Event will be at the Del Mar Arena on August 7, featuring the official buckle of the PBR designed by Jeffrey Scott.

JEFFREY SCOTT DESIGNS PBR WORLD CUP TROPHY

Las Vegas, Nev. – After designing the world’s finest therapeutic jewelry collection and the official buckle of the PBR , Jeffrey Scott recently unveiled his latest creation, the PBR World Cup Trophy.  Scott, along with Sean Gleason, COO of the Professional Bull Riders, Inc. conducted the unveiling at the Grand Opening of the iconic Gilley’s at Treasure Island in Las Vegas during the 2010 PBR World Cup Press Conference.

The 2010 PBR World Cup competition, in its first appearance in the United States, featured 25 riders from five nations competing at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas from April 16 through April 18.  Brazil captured the title in 2007 with the USA winning in 2008 & 2009.

The PBR World Cup Trophy is crafted of more than 100 pieces of hand cut metals, including sterling silver, jeweler’s bronze and alpaca silver, highlighted by a three-dimensional depiction of the PBR logo.  The trophy stands 17.3 inches tall, weighs 14.5 pounds and is valued at $30,000.

“We’re very pleased with how the trophy turned out,” Scott said.  “The mixture of metals really captured the look I was trying to create.  This trophy accommodates an estimated 100 years of competition and is designed to become a perpetual and historical representation of the PBR World Cup competition.”

Brazil won the 2010 event with 1330.25 points, as the United States placed second and Australia third.  Led by team captain Adriano Moraes, veterans Renato Nunes, Robson Palermo and Guilherme Marchi and newcomers Silvano Alves and Paulo Ferreira made a team effort to nab the top spot.  Marchi rode five of his six bulls to score big for his team, while Nunes rode for 89.5 in the sixth round to wrap up the win.

Scott said, “It was an honor to present the award to this year’s World Cup champions. Adriano, Guilherme and Robson have been friends of Team Jeffrey Scott for years.  It was fun watching them battle to the end.  Team USA put up an exceptionally strong fight on the final day to try and overtake the lead, but the Brazilians refused to be denied.”

STRONG START, CONSECUTIVE BUCK -OFFS PROPEL BUCKLE MAN TOWARD SOLID SEASON

Pueblo, Colo.- Two months into the 2010 season of the PBR Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) and Buckle Man is off to a great start.  With two rides in the Challenger Tour Championship Presented by Dickies and six more rides spread between three invitationals, Buckle Man has seen more action than ever before in the BFTS.

After Robson Palermo rode him for a low score in the first round of the Tampa Invitational, Buckle Man bounced back in the second round to buck off Dusty Ephrom.  Following that comeback, he went on to round two of the Winston-Salem Invitational Presented by Troy-Bilt to buck off Travis Sellers and score a whopping 45.5 bull score.

Though averaging a 37.5-buckoff percentage, Buckle Man is riding the momentum of two consecutive buck-offs.  With a strong start and no end in sight, Buckle Man is charging toward the PBR World Finals, one buck-off at a time.

JEFFREY SCOTT’S TITANIUM TOUGH ANNOUNCED TO JOIN THE JEFFREY SCOTT® TEAM

LAS VEGAS, Nev.- Jeffrey Scott Fine Magnetics® proudly welcomes Titanium Tough to the Jeffrey Scott team.   The three-year-old bull will be competing in the PBR ABBI Classic Series throughout 2010 in an attempt to qualify for the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, Jeffrey Scott, owner, said.

“Jeffrey Scott’s Titanium Tough is a very solid bull and I am very excited to have him on board,” Scott said.  “He’s rank, he’s strong, and he comes from a great lineage, so we’re really looking forward to a great debut year.”

Sharing a bloodline with the legendary Crossfire Hurricane, Jeffrey Scott’s Titanium Tough has the genetics of a prized bull.  Crossfire Hurricane finished the 2009 Built Ford Tough Series with a career average ride score of 89.25 and a buckoff percentage of 78.2, being ridden only 12 times throughout his seven-year career.

Jeffrey Scott’s Titanium Tough joins the ranks of Jeffrey Scott’s Buckleman, another fairly green bull to buck in the PBR .  Buckleman finished last year with an average ride score of 85.88, making a name for himself and the Jeffrey Scott bull team. "Jeff Robinson has a great feel for when and where to buck out the young bulls. We expect Titanium Tough to progress well and get stronger throughout the year."

Jeffrey Scott’s Titanium Tough will ride at the Express Classic in Oklahoma City, taking place February 12 through February 14.

BATTLE FOR BUCKLE H EATS UP WITH NECK-AND-NECK RACE; JEFFREY SCOT UNV EILS NEW BUCKLES FOR 2009 PBR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – With the 2009 PBR Built Ford Tough World Finals right around the corner, the Battle for the Buckle takes full swing as top contenders Kody Lostroh, Guilherme Marchi and J.B. Mauney face off for the top spot.  These three elite riders will compete not only for the title of PBR World Champion or the bragging rights that come with it, but also the PBR World Champion Buckle made by Jeffrey Scott®.

As it stands, less than 300 points separate Guilherme Marchi from being crowned a second, consecutive PBR World Champion, and so the pressure is on for current leader Kody Lostroh.  But do not count J.B. Mauney out yet.  A fourth place finish and nearly 800 points in Uncasville, Conn. buoyed Mauney to a comfortable third place seat heading into the finals.

No matter which of these men win the stunning PBR World Champion Buckle on Nov. 8, they won’t be the only one with a brand new Jeffrey Scott® buckle.

Four 2009 PBR World Finals Buckles will be available at the event, as well as available online.  These limited edition buckles, designed by Jeffrey Scott, are handcrafted in keeping with the Jeffrey Scott® tradition of enabling fans of “The Toughest Sport on Earth”® to own the toughest and best buckles on earth.

Also being introduced will be the latest addition to the Jeffrey Scott® Bull Collectibles, Bones, limited to only 500 pieces.  Whether you are an avid buckle collector or a personal fan of this rank beast, Bones is a must-have for any PBR fan.
